Philosophy

For over 30 years Ms. Rees has been teaching piano and believes it is extremely important for a student and a teacher to feel comfortable and see if they are a great match. Once mutual trust is established we can discuss the length and frequency of the lessons, depending on the students’ goals and abilities.

Teaching Philosophy

I have been teaching for almost three decades and I absolutely love it. I have worked with hundreds of students of all different ages, levels and backgrounds. Everyone is equally important to me, whether they are a college student or a four-year-old taking their first steps at the piano. I offer customized lessons for each of my students, concentrating on technical and musical aspects, as well as on the theory and history of music.
